About me

Berlin-based with over 25 years of experience as a videographer working both in Germany and abroad, my focus today lies in brand and corporate communications. In addition to projects in documentary, reportage, and live sports, I regularly collaborate with renowned agencies to produce campaigns for ministries, industrial and image films, as well as high-quality content for the social media channels of national and international companies.

I'm passionate about visual storytelling, and my strong sense of stylish imagery shapes every production.

My goal: to get the most out of each project and create visuals that leave a lasting impression.

I'm not afraid to take creative risks, explore new stylistic directions, and set bold visual accents. I closely follow current trends and technological developments, integrating them thoughtfully into my work.

For large-scale productions, I rely on a nationwide network of experienced professionals from all areas of the media industry.

My Services

Corporate

This is where my roots lie, and where I’ve gained a wealth of experience. Brands and companies need a strong visual presence, both for internal use and, even more importantly, for external communication. There are countless strategies and possibilities that I translate into visual language. From image films to short clips for social media, from storytelling with product placement to bold branding. Often with a promotional touch through subtle narrative techniques.

Documentary

Documentary formats like magazine features, travel documentaries, reports, event coverage, or news segments allow me to tell real stories with closeness and visual strength.
It’s not about flashy effects – it’s about authenticity, perspective, and timing. I love diving into topics with the camera and capturing moments that resonate, understated, but with a distinct visual voice.

Live Events

Live events such as sports, music concerts, talk shows, stage productions, and TV shows have a special appeal for me, because every frame and camera movement has to hit the edit perfectly.

As someone with a deep passion for sports, I’m always fascinated to follow athletes through the lens as they push themselves to their limits. It’s incredibly motivating to be part of a live broadcast with emotionally charged images that captivate millions of viewers in front of their screens.

Photography

Photography, for me, is more than just a still frame – it tells a story in a single moment.
Whether it's event photography, portraits, reportage, or corporate imagery, I work with natural light, thoughtful composition, and an eye for moments that resonate. My style adapts to each purpose – from authentic and documentary to visually staged, for use in social media, presentations, or print materials.

Gear

I work with the Sony FX9 and the Sony Alpha 7S III– two powerful full-frame cameras that offer me maximum flexibility and image quality. Both systems deliver razor-sharp 4K footage and can be perfectly matched in terms of color.

This allows me to work flexibly depending on the size of the project while ensuring a consistent, professional look, whether it's for documentaries, corporate films, or high-quality social media content.
For smooth transitions and steady camera movements, I rely on a gimbal and a slider.

Cameras & Accessories

Microphones & Audio

For clear and professional audio recordings, I use a multi-channel stereo mixer and a range of high-quality microphones, carefully selected based on location, situation, and ambient noise. These include wireless, shotgun, and dynamic reporter microphones. This ensures that audio and visuals come together at the highest production standard.

Lenses

I rely on high-quality lenses and professional accessories to precisely shape my work's visual impact.
For flexible "run and gun" productions, I use fast zoom lenses with a focal length range of 16 mm to 200 mm and a constant aperture of f/2.8, ideal for dynamic situations with minimal setup time. For more elaborate productions with greater control over the set and lighting, I turn to my set of prime lenses with an aperture of f/1.5. They allow for more intentional composition, depth of field, and a more cinematic look.

Lighting

For atmospheric lighting design, I rely on a carefully curated selection of professional lighting equipment. Most of the time, I work with LED lights combined with softboxes and Cine Flows, which emit no heat – a major advantage for indoor shoots. For more cinematic setups, I also use Fresnels and effect lights to create specific moods and visual depth.
